5 Resources Every Writer Ought to Know
If you’re my kind of writer in any measure, you’re probably always on the lookout for helpful information and resources that can help not only write, but edit, format, and publish that book you’ve been working on since high school.
And if you’re anything like me, you’ve got at least sixteen bookmarks on your browser to prove it. Same, homie. My bookmarks are a delightful community of useful links. However, when I ran through those links, it occurred to me that I maybe only really use five. So, in grand procrastinating tradition, I stopped boosting my word count and switched my focus to cleaning out my bookmarks.
The five resources left standing are what we’re sharing today. Could they be the best resources out there? The cream of the crop, even? Well, I can tell you this much - they are absolutely invaluable to me, and I feel like they might be for you too. Read on:
Author Grow - www.authorgrow.com
Reedsy - www.reedsy.com
Bardsy - www.bardsy.com
Canva - www.canva.com
Writer’s Digest - www.writersdigest.com
In the interest of keeping this short, I’ll sum up by saying that four out of the five sites I’ve listed above can legitimately guide you toward countless other resources meant to make you a better, more well-rounded writer. And if you’re writing, I encourage you to check each out! You’ll find paid courses, informative blogs, and much much more. I hope I’ve helped at least a little; of course, if you have any (productive) questions, feel free to comment and let’s see if we can’t find out the answer together. Happy Writing!
